![]() It's such a simple thing and Google made it so complicated that it's almost unusable. It just works and you don't need to be aware that there's two separate password keepers. ![]() You don't find this kind of fragmented, convoluted, broken stuff on Apple devices. I love Android and Google in general but this is what people mean when they say Apple stuff just works. If that is already an option, I can't find it. But this can be solved with a simple check box or toggle in Android: "Use my chrome passwords for my Android device/Google account." I get that not all people who use chrome on their PC or mac are using an Android device. I just reset my Nebula password 3 times before I realized what was happening. This keeps happening to me over and over. Why? The app is pulling the old password from my Google account and Gmail runs off chrome so the new one got saved there. I say yes.įlip back to the app and I'm good to go now, right? Tap sign in and pick that saved password. ![]() I flip to Gmail and use the link to reset the password. It tells me it sent an email with a link. The app rejects the saved password as incorrect. If I download an app I haven't used for a while, try to sign in, it will present me with an option to fill it in from the password keeper. UI language of another device and its corresponding sync problem. This is one of the single most frustrating things about an Android phone. Having said that, we are planning to fix the sync issue: removing the Status: Fixed We have investigated the issue. However I'll work on it towards the end, so I ![]() Let's make sure that we fix this as part of the language settings fix. Going to add a section on this into the corresponding design doc. The UI language on another device: remove it from the current deviceīut add it back to the bottom of the list if the user logs back intoĬlaudio, I see a note in go/chrome-language-controls that you were In go/chrome-language-controls, this is what we propose for the useĬase when a user deletes a language on one device that happens to be The fix is a change in the way languages are handled in profiles and will be implemented someday, with no ETA. I am using Google Chrome smoothly in my Chromebooks, Macs and Linuxes, but not now with Windows 10. The bug report is accepted and the current status is fixed. I just noticed that all my Google Chrome settings are not synced with my Google Chrome in Windows 10. Is there a way I may have missed to remove this language from the list and end my misery? I filed a bug in Chromium but it will take ages before it is triaged. Setting the preferred languages in my Google profile does not help (Polish is not there, I therefore assume this is a Chrome setting) Uninstalling Chrome and manually eradicate all the files which are linked to Chrome does not help. If I move it down and the try to remove it, it jumps to position number 2.ĭeleting the profile and recreating it does not help. I am here trying to remove Polish but it just stays there (as in " it does not move after clicking on Remove"). I tried everything I could to remove it, starting with the Settings: The net effect is that a variety of sites now present themselves with my "preferred" language (which they take as being Polish), same for extensions etc. This action somehow added Polish to my Google profile and now I simply cannot remove it. When travelling to Poland, I logged in with my Google account on a Polish computer.
